Aspire provides Regulation 25 visits to support the oversight of residential family assessment centres. We offer a service where an independent social worker conducts monthly visits in line with Ofsted requirements, ensuring compliance with the Residential Family Centres National Minimum Standards. Ofsted values these Regulation 25 visits and reviews the reports as part of its inspection process.
The purpose of the visits is to ensure that the service provided to children and families is safe and well-delivered. A monthly report is completed in a timely manner, addressing the three key areas that Ofsted inspects:
At Aspire, our visits involve thoroughly reviewing documentation relating to the needs of each family, speaking with both staff and residents, and assessing the facilities to ensure they provide a safe and nurturing environment for families. We compile a monthly detailed reports that highlight our findings, recognising strengths while also offering practical recommendations for improvement. Our aim is to assist residential family centres in providing high-quality services that lead to positive outcomes for families. By concentrating on compliance and driving continuous improvement, Aspire helps these centres uphold their critical role in supporting vulnerable families.
We are passionate about ensuring that every residential family centre not only meets the minimum standards but also strives to further their service to the next level. Our goal is to help each centre we work with go beyond compliance, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
At Aspire, we take pride in conducting independent and impartial Regulation 25 visits, ensuring our reports are unbiased and non-judgmental. Each month, we provide high-quality, comprehensive reports that are delivered promptly, allowing residential placements to reflect on their performance and continuously improve in line with national minimum standards.
As an independent agency, we offer a platform for essential feedback from wider partners, parents, families, and staff, capturing true experiences. Our rigorous quality assurance process ensures every report is backed by high-quality feedback and effective recommendations.
In addition to assessing compliance with national minimum standards, Aspire is committed to driving continuous improvement beyond those requirements. We aim to support outstanding service delivery that positively impacts families now and in the future.
Here is a testimonial from just one of the services we have been supporting:
Our team of independent social workers brings a wealth of experience from various aspects of social work. Beyond their expertise as practitioners, some have held managerial roles and contributed to service development. They also possess valuable insight from participating in Ofsted inspections and have played key roles in agencies undergoing extensive improvement journeys.
In addition to their experience, every independent social worker supporting your placement is committed to upholding Aspires values. We engage with families and professionals with respect, kindness, and responsibility, ensuring a positive and positive working relationship.
At Aspire, our approach is rooted in support and reflection. We believe in fostering curiosity and providing strong, critically reflective advice to those we work with. Built on the foundation of relationships, our process includes regular visits to placements, holding reflective conversations with managers, and engaging with staff, parents, and families who rely on the service.
We also collaborate with wider agencies to gather valuable feedback, which is incorporated into our monthly reports. This information is discussed openly and transparently with service providers, ensuring that a clear set of actions is agreed upon to continuously improve service delivery in residential assessment centres to consistently meet and hope exceed the national minimum standards in preparation for any forthcoming Ofsted inspections.
Our reports follow a structured format that addresses every national minimum standard. Additionally, we provide an easy-read version to ensure that families can easily access and understand the report throughout their time in placement.
