We have a strong reputation for delivering informative and inspiring courses driven by our wealth of experience and knowledge from working with children, young people, service users, foster carers, health and social workers, solicitors and senior managers from many different agencies.
Aspire also offers a range of training and development opportunities to support foster carers, local authorities, third party agencies or charities.
Our team is able to share our expertise and insight into a wide range of health and social care issues and has over 20 years’ experience in teaching with charisma and compassion.
Aspire training is delivered primarily by our founder, Mark Sloman, and a small team of experienced facilitators – all of whom have been training and working in social services provision for over 20 years.
Mark has been the lead trainer in child protection and child abuse for Somerset Children’s Safeguarding board, a visiting lecturer at the University of the West of England and associate lecturer for the Open University for over a decade.
However, if you have identified training needs not listed above, please contact us and we will develop a bespoke workshop for you.
Our training team brings a wealth of experience and energy into the training environment, combining the latest research and evidence with contemporary front line child welfare issues.
We deliver training with authority, clarity, confidence and compassion, by recognising the needs of delegates and being responsive rather than lecturing. Our team recognises that delegates are experts in their own right so we adopt a facilitator model of training.
Materials are included in all courses and we provide every delegate with a certificate of attendance.
